The Marketing world is changing fast, with online reporting and social media fast relegating traditional print media to the dustbin of history. And if you want a lesson on how to make social media work in the car world, you could do a lot worse than look at Audi’s recent efforts. Audi started using hashtags (that’s a little phrase preceded by the hashtag and used on Twitter) in its adverts for the Superbowl last year, which is a good way to get topics trending on the Twitter social media hub.

This is the first time that Koenigsegg’s visible carbon weave has been produced in anything other than bog-standard black. But in the Treviat it looks stunning – it shimmers in a way its namesake would be proud of. The CCXR Trevita will – we assume – come with the same bio-fuel engine as the CCXR Edition, as Koenigsegg has told us that this car will produce the same mammoth 1018 bhp, and sub-3 second 0-60, as the Edition.

This is Hyundai’s i20, the Korean company’s replacement for the Getz supermini. The new i20 will debut at the Paris motor show in October 2008, along with a plethora of low-emissions concepts and a new seven-seat 4x4. Sitting on an all-new platform with a wheelbase longer than the existing Getz, the i20 is Hyundai’s Ford Fiesta rival.
